My wife and I's experience at Unwind is consistently a good one. Our daughter takes piano lessons not far from the restaurant at Apollo Music. Meeting at Unwind Kitchen and Bar has become a weekly thing for the two of us. Our service is always prompt and courteous. Everything we've tried there with regard to food has been quite good. (The fried green beans are scrumptious!) The ambiance is nice and the space is clean, classy and well-maintained. Our weekly visits are during happy hour which is even better! If you're in the area stop by for a visit. You'll be glad you did. With an extensive wine list, good food and a nice local beer selection you're sure to be satisfied.

My super hot girlfriend invited me to unwined kitchen and bar for a Wednesday evening date night. We sat down and the menu was nice, but only had limited selections of rose. She bought the last bottle and had a couple cocktails. White Russian was phenomenal ....proceeded to dinner, started off with mushroom crab puffs. Ordered Caesar salad and then had the Seabass. For dessert we had the creme brulee. Food was really good but someone like myself who knows the difference between cheap croutons...I feel like this place should make some actual homemade croutons. Regardless, dinner was awesome. Would recommend it for a date night.

Unwind is an amazing restaurant and is my favorite place for Sunday brunch. My husband and I dined there this morning with my sister and brother-in-law to celebrate my birthday belatedly. I usually order the Eggs Benedict, but opted to order the Belgian Waffle for a change. There were 3 small, delicious waffles topped with strawberries and blueberries, whipped cream, and maple syrup. Absolutely yummy! We also enjoyed a glass of champagne with our brunch. We discovered that today was Frank's birthday (5/4), and we had a delightful visit with him when he stopped by our table. We also enjoyed a wonderful visit with Melinda when she stopped by to greet us. The owners are always welcoming and friendly, and it's always a bonus when they take time to be personable despite being busy making sure all of their customers enjoy a delightful dining experience. Unwind is a favorite restaurant for celebrating special occasions and for everyday dining as well!

We've had Easter brunch here two years in a row, and it has been excellent both times. The food and service are great, and I'm assuming that it's like this generally and not just at brunch.

Unwined never disappoints! It’s great for a casual visit or special occasions. The food is always amazing and the service is top notch! (A huge thank you to Faith for always providing the best service.) They have a nice selection of flights to choose from in wine or whiskey (along with all your favorite cocktails. The charcuterie board is the best in Chico, the entrees are always tasty with ample portions, and they always have special desserts to end the night.

What a find! Went to celebrate and we picked the right place! Very nice atmosphere. Full bar, superb Cosmos!The food was excellent, Crab Bellas were a wonderful appetizer,Kobe steaks cooked to perfection. Thai Shrimp Coconut Bowl, kinda like a curry was spicy and fantastic! Our server Alexander was incredibly attentive and friendly. They had 3 desserts, we ordered all of them, what fun! Creme brulee, cheesecake and chocolate espresso cake were crazy good, ate every bite. I’ll come back, definitely. We came back 3 mos later. Four of us again. Cosmopolitans we’re excellent! The servers are so friendly it makes the dining experience very nice. The side of macaroni and cheese was enough for a meal and crazy good! We ordered every dessert again. The Chocolate Ganache Cake is ridiculously tasty and the Creme Brulee is to die for. Kitchen closes at 9pm.

The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming. Our server was super sweet. The espresso martinis from here are extremely good. I think the best I’ve had in Chico. The menu has quite a few options on it with a surprising amount of really tasty, healthy options. We got the salmon and it was extremely good. The creme brulee is also a stand out. At the end of the evening, we forgot our to go box of food and our server came running out to the car to bring it to us. Will definitely be back very soon.
